Dear CDSS members, donors, and supporters,
The Canadian Down Syndrome Conference is just days away! We’ve been focusing our energy this month on making this our best conference yet, to celebrate 30 incredible years of representing Canada’s Down syndrome community. We can’t wait to see all of you at the beautiful Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. It’s going to be an incredible weekend.
We recommend you start to plan your weekend – download the app and the PDF program. Read the session descriptions and speaker bios in advance so you make the most of your time at the conference. There’s also lots to do outside of the conference sessions for all attendees – on Friday, join us at the Welcome Reception, which will be Banff themed. On Saturday, we’re hosting an all ages party featuring the movie Sing. Come dressed as your favourite celebrity – paparazzi will be there to snap your pic! And contact ohnerezeptfreikauf of course, join us Sunday for our banquet. While our Friday and Saturday events are free, you can purchase tickets to the Sunday banquet here.
Thanks to our sponsors – Denny’s, Details, Red Arrow, Executive Millwork, Fairfield Watson, CBN Commercial Solutions, Child Development Dayhomes, Norton Rose Fulbright, Allard Foundation, Reece’s Rainbow, CIR Reality (Rose Wolstenholme), and Tech To U.
Finally, keep an eye on the weather report – it’s changing every day, so make sure you pack appropriately for whatever the Canadian Rockies bring.
