I like going on vacation with my family. We have done a lot of traveling and I have been many places. Some of these places were very far away and I needed to go on an airplane.
We like to go camping on our summer vacation. The camp grounds we go to are in BC. I also like to travel to Kelowna to see my girlfriend. I have been to Europe and I visited Italy. My favorite part of being in Italy was swimming in the pool at the hotel.
Sometimes I travel on airplanes by myself but it’s not always a good experience. When I travel by myself it’s to see my girlfriend in Kelowna. When I am alone on the airplane I am scared of taking off and landing. Some advice I have for other travelers with Down syndrome is do not be scared of the airplane. You will have to pack things that you need and check in at the airport and go past your gate and have your ID out so you can get on the airplane.
I hope to travel with my girlfriend in the future. Some places I would like to go to include Chicago because I hope to learn to be a star there. I would also like to travel to Paris to see Notre Dame church because I really like the movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
