Here’s Ruth in an Eaton’s catalogue
Hello everyone!
This is Paul here again and I wanted to share a cool story with you. Canadians have been advocating for many years for inclusion. This story is about Valentina Guerrero, she is a model and was born with Down syndrome. There is a swimwear company called Dolores Cortés and Valentina is the newest model for the company. Our very own Ruth Joseph, Vice Chair of the VATTA Committee, was the first Canadian with Down syndrome to appear in an Eaton’s catalogue many years ago. Congratulations to Ruth and her family for advocating so many years ago!
My hope is that people with disabilities have the same opportunities as everyone else. Advertisements should include all people.
