I volunteered at my grandma’s retirement residence. I was involved in volunteering there a couple of times a week. I got this volunteer job so I could get out and get some good experience. The head of the house keeping gave me the volunteering job and the tasks were to clean all the windows and all the doors. My tasks also included folding laundry.

It is very important to volunteer because volunteering is something that people can do for others who need extra help. My volunteering came to an end so I don’t work there any more. I liked my volunteering job and it was some thing that I was good at. I had some help from my support workers at this volunteering job. It was good to have help. I wish I was going back to my volunteering job but I can’t  go back right now because I need to return to Mount Royal University and I am too busy with my job at CDSS.

I liked volunteering and I was good at it. I am very proud of my work as a volunteer. I am able to do volunteering work without help because the work is easy to do. When I can do things alone it makes me very proud of myself. I can do any kind of work but I need help with some things, most of the time I can do things all on my own.
